Use of the Active Directory Web Access

The Active Directory Web Access enables administrators of the domain to execute various elements included in the physical active directory server through any web browser without having to physically access the server. The Web Application allows access to feature such as;

• Changing Email and Login User Passwords
• Checking the Health of the MUSPH Active Directory Web Server(s)
• Configuring new IP Addresses and other Basic Network Settings

How to Access the Web Access?

The Active Directory Administration page can be used in any standard web browser that supports SSL. The Web access typically has no ssl certificate installed so when it is accessed, depending on the web browser, the user usually encounters an error indicating that the SSL Certificate is invalid; please ignore this warming and continue.

The MUSPH Active Directory Administration page can be accessed using the following URL;

https://192.168.0.1:10000

Be sure not to forget using https instead of http. Its infact technically better to copy and paste the URL entry above into the browser window where possible.
